Fungi: Kilvey hill 7th Oct

Photos of the species I found on the 7th Oct..

The one below intrigues me especially...It's a Collybia maculata/Spotted Toughshank.
The mushroom starts life white but with aging and/or bruising tan-brown coloured patches appear. These markings on the cap and stem are a good visual indicator for the species.




The gills are free and crowded as seen below.
The stimp of this mushroom is hollow inside.
